The Procurement Service Center Specialist will be part of a growing and dynamic Global Procurement Service Center team. The position is mainly responsible to manage procurement activities by playing an active role in providing procurement operational services to the region. The position will report to the Global Service Center Lead - Americas and will interact daily with key business stakeholders and their suppliers.
Main Responsibilities
Manage and lead major procurement work categories, to include: Vendor Create/Change, PR to PO creation, AP resolution / Webcycle, Category Collaboration with RCM/GCM, SAP outline agreement creation/update
Work with requestors/suppliers to maintain turn-around-time expectations and quality
Strive for "Right First Time" (RFT) process effectiveness to reduce time/waste within procurement functions
Ensure all process standards are properly documented in the Standard Operating Procedure and drive program compliance to the SOPs.
Collaborate effectively with Regional and Global Category managers, and Regional Leads
Prepare Reports on Team Performance and SLAs
Work on Root Cause and Preventive/Corrective Action summaries
Participate in projects relating to M&A or similar procurement activities
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college
Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of previous experience in a shared service center, procurement or operations experience
Working in teams across multiple locations and countries
Full functional knowledge of all phases of the Procure to Pay end to end process
Collaboration mindset
Strong communication skills
Working proficiency with SAP and Ariba
Ability to cope with multiple complex situations daily and in a global environment
Integrity and compliance mindset (transactional and process integrity)
Excellent time management, prioritization skills

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
