We are currently looking for a Personal Moving Consultant for Maris Grove Continuing Care Retirement Community located in Glen Mills, PA. This person will represent Erickson Realty & Moving Services in customizing an individual moving plan for each prospective customer who has reserved an apartment home and is preparing to move to an Erickson campus. In addition, this person will be responsible for meeting with Priority List members and assisting them in eliminating any barriers associated with their house sale and move. This effort will include personal visits to the customer's home to assess their current situation and identifying strategic next steps to facilitate a quick and stress-free move in process.
The Personal Moving Consultant Job Duties and Responsibilities Include:
Customer Service:
Conduct site visits to the customer's home, identifying a solid plan of next steps and solutions in selling their house, staging the house for sale, downsizing, packing, moving, etc.
Apply appropriate social work related skills, assisting residents & families with the down sizing process, dealing with strong emotions, demonstrating a warm & understanding nature
Review real estate agents' marketing plans for specific customers & consult regularly with agents & customers
Apply decorating & space planning skills to advise customers what to take or leave behind, how to stage their house
Provide the sales director and team with salient information about the customer that may impact settlements and move-in activity
Conduct Priority List member seminars and reservists workshops
Sales:
Contact 4-5 Priority List members/reservists per day (via site visits/phone calls) to move them through the process in order to increase the communities' revenue opportunities by improving retention and settlement rates
Remain abreast of the real estate market, pricing trends, etc. making pricing recommendations to customers
Identify and build a network of preferred vendors, including appropriate real estate agents
Gain access to the MLS (Multiple Listing Service) for determining comparable pricing
Develop a highly organized, detail-oriented process: calendar, records, reports, statistics, invoices, etc.
Work with reservist to creatively identify funds needed for settlement and method of payment (i.e. additional assets, Promissory Notes, Bridge Loan, etc.) and conduct 10% and contract appointments (if appropriate)

Understanding of the real estate market, including pricing and market trends
Real Estate industry experience is preferred
Two to five years of sales experience required.
Some college preferred; High School or GED required
Highly organized and detail oriented
